At its inception, the only source of musical knowledge was Alfonso Flores "Tun Tun", a Marimba Maestro. But as they learned, the students of the great master became "little teachers" who reproduced what they had learned to the new students. This is what happened with the first generations of the school, and we have continued with this tradition until today.

In addition to its guitar musical director, Marvin Valdivia, the guitar school also has teacher Cefas Berríos. And supporting them both is a group of instructors who have been trained at the guitar school and who now share their knowledge with the new guitar students.

The Flavio Galo Marimba and Guitar School started small - two teachers and a few students. From the beginning, the decision was made to use the most experienced students to teach the newest ones, thus promoting the formation of instructors who would take the lead and be in charge of teaching the art of music to the next generations. That is the legacy we want to leave behind, and that is why we have continued with that tradition, always seeking out and preparing those with the talent and desire to instruct others.
