Vision, mission and values

Vision

...................................................................................

To be the leading music school and a national reference for its pedagogical quality based on the professionalism of its instructors and teachers, for its social focus, and for the promotion and rescue of Nicaraguan culture and art.

Mission

...................................................................................

To promote the art of marimba, guitar and other artistic disciplines among children, adolescents and adults, and to develop artistic skills primarily among those in situations of economic and social vulnerability. Grateful for the talents that God has given us, we will make our vocation of service a reality without discrimination and with a commitment to the Nicaraguan art.

Values

...................................................................................

  1. Promotion of the national culture and art. In the face of an avalanche of foreign expressions as a consequence of globalization, the school will promote Nicaraguan art and culture, as well as a pride of identity of "what is ours".

  2. Social focus. The School will prioritize, as much as possible, those students who are most vulnerable due to their family situation and economic resources.

  3. Excellency. It will always seek continuous improvement in its teaching methodology, in order to achieve the best skills and artistic abilities among its promoters and students.

  4. Innovation and creativity. This will be incorporated into the teaching methods to achieve the highest performance and improvement of students and instructors.

  5. Development of new talent. The school will focus on those students who demonstrate a musical vocation and an interest in learning. It will support the development of new musical talent.

  6. Responsibility. Responsibility for teaching and learning will be promoted among instructors and students. Specifically, respect for punctuality will be demanded.

  7. Teamwork. Teamwork, complementarity and solidarity will be promoted. To this end, we will seek to incorporate ideas that arise from the instructors, students and parents for the good functioning of the school. We will also promote skills and abilities in the instructors and students, so that they can assume leadership roles.

  8. Respect. Respect will be promoted at all levels, from instructors to their students and from instructors to each other, correcting any contrary practices.

  9. Ethical conduct. Ethical practices will be promoted among instructors and students. Behaviors that harm the good functioning and image of the school will be sanctioned, as well as acts that physically or morally harm any member of the school.
